CATAPULT TECHNOLOGY HIRES NEW ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT OF ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS

Bethesda, Maryland – Tuesday, June 17 - Catapult Technology, Ltd. (Catapult), a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the Federal government, announced that Walter F. Munnikhuysen has joined the company as associate vice president of enterprise solutions, a new position in the company.

“Catapult continues its strategy of conscious corporate growth, and bringing Walt on board in a new role underscores our commitment to that process,” said Randy J. Slager, chairman and CEO of Catapult.

In this new position, Munnikhuysen will utilize his deep knowledge of the Federal contracting experience and his background with civilian agencies to ensure the needs of current clients are met and that new business lines are developed, focusing on network infrastructure, helpdesk operation and planning, system support staffing estimation, and connectivity technologies.

Munnikhuysen joins Catapult from CSSI Inc., where he was senior vice president for operations. There, he managed all contract services for the engineering, IT and applied research firm and oversaw 180 analysts, engineers, software developers and technology and management specialists. He reengineered CSSI’s core competencies to align with target markets, and successfully led the company through the audit and recertification of ISO 900 1-2000. Munnikhuysen will build on those successes in his new role at Catapult.

Prior to CSSI, Munnikhuysen was vice president for strategy programs and development at the CAN Corporation, and spent many years in increasingly senior positions at Battelle.
