As part of an $800K task order through the GSA 8(a) STARS (Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services) Federal contract vehicle, Catapult Technology is providing Personnel Action Request (PAR) processing services to the U.S. Forest Service, a division of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Catapult Technology Awarded Five-Year, $200 Million GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) Contract


Catapult Technology will be the prime contractor on the five-year $200 million GITGO (GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations) contract. GITGO is GSA's internal reorganization, consolidating the Federal Technology Service and Federal Supply Service into a single organization, the Federal Acquisition Service. Critical to centralizing IT systems, GITGO will eliminate incompatible systems, improve reliability, and formalize a standard enterprise-wide resource management framework.

Catapult Awarded DHS EAGLE Contract


Catapult Technology has been awarded a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The DHS EAGLE (Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions) contract has two additional one-year options for a total of seven years.

EAGLE will enable DHS to establish a common IT architecture among the 22 agencies within the department. This enterprise contract covers five categories, including: infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation and integration; operations and maintenance; independent test, validation and verification; software design; and management support services. Catapult qualified for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Functional Category (FC2 - Tier 2) of the contract.

Catapult President Randy Slager Named Entrepreneur of the Year


President and CEO of Catapult Technology Randy J. Slager was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Tech Council of Maryland. Slager received the award at the Tech Council's Annual Dinner and Tech Awards presentation on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. Among Maryland's highest technology honors, the Entrepreneur of the Year is one of four annual awards given by the Tech Council.

The Tech Awards annually honor the technology companies that stand above the rest and executives who have made outstanding contributions to their companies and their communities. The judging criteria include the ability of the company to show revenue growth and the ability of the company to take the lead on technological advancements that have had a direct impact on their markets.
