Catapult Technology Awarded DHS EAGLE Contract

Bethesda, Maryland, November 29, 2006 – Catapult Technology, Ltd., the top Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the Federal government, announced today the award of a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The DHS EAGLE (Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions) contract has two additional one-year options for a total of seven years.

EAGLE will enable DHS to establish a common IT architecture among the 22 agencies within the department. This enterprise contract covers five categories, including: infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation and integration; operations and maintenance; independent test, validation and verification; software design; and management support services.

Catapult qualified for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Functional Category (FC2 - Tier 2) of the contract. This functional category includes the full range of O&M solutions, from maintaining and upgrading individual pieces of hardware and software to full managed service solutions. Catapult will provide any and all operations and maintenance solutions, processes, and procedures necessary to sustain systems within the DHS Enterprise at the highest levels of service and availability consistent with cost, schedule, and performance objectives. These solutions encompass the large IT infrastructure areas of: data center, help desk and field support services (including desk-side support and LAN administration), network and security operations, and collaboration services (including e-mail, voice, and video services).
