Catapult Technology Awarded Five-Year, $200 Million GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) Contract

Bethesda, Maryland – March 6, 2007 - Catapult Technology, Ltd., the top Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the Federal government, announced today the award of the five-year $200 million GITGO (GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations) contract.

“Catapult is pleased to be selected as the prime contractor on the GITGO contract. This award recognizes Catapult's strengths as a quality process-driven company, combining our key areas of expertise in Management Consulting, Technology and Security Solutions,” Catapult’s founder and CEO Randy J. Slager said. “This is a partnership with GSA in transitioning the Agency to better serve its federal clients.”

In 2005, GSA announced an internal reorganization, consolidating the Federal Technology Service and Federal Supply Service into a single organization, the Federal Acquisition Service. Critical to centralizing IT systems, GITGO will eliminate incompatible systems, improve reliability, and formalize a standard enterprise-wide resource management framework.

“GITGO is not just a consolidation, but also a change management effort,” Slager said.

Catapult will nearly double its revenue as a result of this partnership with GSA, which will help propel the company to the next level of service for its nationwide roster of clients. GSA has long been a leader in initiatives that open doors to those who served in our military, and Catapult is committed to supporting GSA by becoming a significant success story for the Agency’s outreach efforts.

As the prime contractor, Catapult is joined by its teammates, CSC and Comtech, which have proven and successful records of supporting GSA projects.

Catapult is a focused small business dedicated to quality service delivery with ISO 9001 and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 certifications, and provides similar infrastructure support and change management services to the Department of Interior Bureau of Reclamation, the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security, and the Department of Energy Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management. The Catapult team’s partnership with GSA will support the critical missions of many government agencies, transform GSA and streamline the organization by utilizing best practices and taking advantage of synergies and cost savings.
