Catapult Technology Named Top 8(a) Federal Prime Contractor Bethesda firm ranks highly on annual ranking


Bethesda, Maryland, November 2005 - Catapult Technology, Ltd., the top Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Information Technology (IT) contractor to the Federal government, has been listed by Washington Technology as one of the top 25 8(a) Federal prime contractors.

8(a) describes small businesses certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as "unconditionally owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who are of good character and citizens of the United States, and must demonstrate potential for success".

With 8(a) prime contract revenues exceeding $16 million for the previous Federal fiscal year, Catapult joins an elite group of companies providing technology solutions to government agencies and the private sector.

Catapult Technology Announces Senior Management Changes


Catapult Technology has announced changes to its senior management. Mark Hunker has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Catapult has named Lisa Farrell, Vice President, Operations; Steve Nagel, Vice President, Security Programs; and Linda Olson, Associate Vice President, Quality Programs.

Catapult Technology Wins $28 Million Contract From the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation


Catapult Technology has been awarded a five-year $28 million contract to support the Bureau of Reclamation, Information Technology Services Division (BOR-ITS) at the U.S. Department of the Interior.  Representing the largest single award by the Interior to an SBA-Certified Small Business, Catapult will provide software development and engineering services for the operation and maintenance of the BOR network at Denver headquarters and field offices.  These services include communications, server operations, email, internet, cyber security, quality assurance, software development, data management, and program support activities.  Catapult will also operate the ITS Help Desk, providing general customer support.

Catapult Technology wins $45.6 million contract from the Department of Energy Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (OCRWM)


Catapult has been awarded a five-year $45.6 million contract to support the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (OCRWM) at the U.S. Department of Energy. This is the largest single award to an SDVOSB. Catapult will provide IT support services for OCRWM to protect the health and safety of the current population and future generations in developing an underground repository for safely isolating radioactive nuclear waste.

Catapult Technology wins $9.5 million contract from the Department of Labor for software services to OSHA


Catapult has been awarded a $9.5 million contract to provide software development operations and maintenance services to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). OSHA's integrated management information systems (IMIS) serves local, regional and national office management, with approximately 4,500 users located in approximately 250 offices across the Unites States and its territories. Catapult will support these mission-critical systems and related applications, including software engineering and database administration, particularly the mainframe, web and standalone Oracle applications.
