Homeland DefenseSince 9/11, Catapult has evolved to be one of the few small businesses that is playing a central role in Homeland Security. Catapult provided a cadre of Federal HR subject matter experts on the roll out of the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) mandate to hire 60,000 newly Federalized security personnel for the nation's 420 commercial airports. The company has been providing key telecommunications and IT infrastructure support to TSA including interagency security support for the United States Coast Guard's (USCG) National Command Center and the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Washington Command Center. Additionally, Catapult has been called upon to render other mission critical security-related services, including providing support to the USCG Deepwater Program to modernize its command and control architecture, implementing high grade environmental, event-driven security monitoring system for Andrews AFB; and is conducting the security and vulnerability assessment for the Port of South Louisiana. Catapult's Intelligent Systems Group (ISG) provides a wide range of critical asset protection (CAP) services integrating best-of-breed and advanced technologies in security engineering. By integrating physical security with cyber security, ISG provides customers with real-time security monitoring.
