Terrie Ney Promoted to Senior Director, Human Resources

Bethesda, Maryland – Tuesday, May 1, 2012 – Catapult Technology, Ltd., a leading Information Technology (IT) contractor to the federal government, announces that Terrie Ney has been promoted to Senior Director, Human Resources.

In her senior role, Ney will continue to oversee Human Resources department functions, serving 650 Catapult employees at more than 20 nationwide locations. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the hiring and new employee orientation processes; benefits administration and management; performance evaluations; professional development; managing employee relations issues and coaching managers; conducting visits to customer sites; and many other HR-related functions.

Additionally, Catapult has shifted the recruiting function under Ney’s direction, to encourage more streamlined coordination between assimilation of incumbent employees and recruitment of non-incumbent employees as Catapult pursues larger, more integrated contracts with federal agencies and departments.

Ney has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the areas of Human Resources, Benefits Management and Administration, Employment Law, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Business Administration, Accounting, Payroll, Program Management, and Employee Supervision. Additionally, she has earned credits in Human Resources and general business from the College of Southern Maryland and the University of Maryland; is PHR certified; and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and Montgomery County SHRM.
